Our team has partnered with a SaaS company focused on improving transportation safety and efficiency to identify a “Senior Manager – Agile Delivery” to lead and elevate its Agile delivery function. This is a net-new leadership role created to support continued company growth and delivery transformation. This individual will directly manage a team of four Scrum Masters, own the Agile delivery framework, and drive governance and optimization of product development tools and reporting systems.
This leader will play a pivotal role in strengthening delivery predictability, improving execution discipline, and increasing visibility across product and engineering teams. The position requires a balance of strategic vision and hands‑on execution, along with the technical credibility to collaborate effectively with Engineering and Product leadership. The ideal candidate thrives in scaling environments, drives measurable outcomes, and builds scalable processes without sacrificing clarity and team empowerment.
This role reports into the VP of Product.
Salary: $140,000 – 175,000 base (depending on experience) + 15% bonus + full benefits (medical/dental/vision/401k match + more)
Location: Hybrid in Phoenix, AZ
ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Development
- Provide direct leadership to a team of Scrum Masters/Delivery Managers, setting clear expectations and accountability standards.
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members to enhance delivery capability and career progression.
- Build and scale a high‑performing Agile delivery organization that supports multiple product teams.
- Lead hiring, onboarding, and ongoing professional development initiatives within the delivery function.
Agile Framework Ownership
- Establish and continuously refine Agile methodologies, standards, and best practices across teams.
- Drive consistent execution of ceremonies, sprint discipline, and cross‑team coordination.
- Enhance reporting frameworks and delivery metrics, including velocity trends, throughput, predictability, and cycle time.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement rooted in data‑driven decision‑making.
- Facilitate cross‑team planning, release coordination, and dependency management.
Product & Delivery Tools Governance
- Oversee strategy, administration, and optimization of product and delivery platforms, including Jira, Confluence, road‑mapping tools, and workflow automation systems.
- Standardize workflows and ensure integrity and consistency of delivery data.
- Develop dashboards and executive‑level reporting insights to improve organizational visibility.
- Manage tool configurations, vendor relationships, and system enhancements.
- Deliver a consolidated, real‑time view of roadmap progress, risks, and cross‑functional dependencies.
- Refine portfolio‑level planning cadences, including quarterly planning and release readiness processes.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Go‑to‑Market teams to ensure alignment and execution feasibility.
- Identify systemic bottlenecks and drive resolution of organizational impediments.
Strategic Partnership
- Collaborate closely with senior technology and product leaders to ensure roadmap commitments are realistic and executable.
- Champion scalable intake, prioritization, and road‑mapping practices.
- Provide coaching to leaders and teams on Agile principles and modern delivery strategies.
- Serve as a key advocate for predictability, transparency, and execution excellence.

- 7–12+ years of experience in Agile delivery roles such as Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Delivery Manager, or Release Train Engineer
- 3–5+ years of experience leading Scrum Masters or Agile delivery professionals
- Deep hands‑on experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and Lean principles
