Company Overview

Our client is a rapidly scaling, PE-backed healthcare partnership organization supporting a network of medical practices across the United States. We partner with independent, doctor-owned practices, providing centralized operational support and technology infrastructure to enable clinical excellence and efficient practice management. The organization is experiencing aggressive growth and is building out its IT team to support this expansion.

Position Summary

As our client continues to acquire and integrate new practices into their network, they are seeking a highly skilled IT Administration:
Systems Integration & Networking Specialist to serve as a key partner to their IT Director. This role is central to the scalability of their IT operations. You will own the integration, migration, and standardization of systems across newly acquired offices while managing network infrastructure, supporting dental-specific hardware and software, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations across a distributed, multi-state environment. This is not a traditional helpdesk role — it requires someone who can work autonomously, think strategically, and execute hands-on across a wide range of technical disciplines.

As our client grows, so will this role. There is a clear path to leadership for the right candidate.

What You’ll DoSystems Integration & Practice Migration
  • Lead the integration and migration of newly acquired dental offices into the company’s standardized IT environment, including practice management systems, imaging platforms, and network infrastructure.
  • Oversee system conversions across offices, ensuring smooth operations with minimal clinical disruption.
  • Create and maintain clear documentation for integration workflows, configurations, and conversion plans.
  • Collaborate with the IT Director to evaluate and implement tools that optimize operational efficiency across the network.
Network & Infrastructure Management
  • Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure across multiple office locations (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, access points – Uni Fi/Ubiquiti preferred).
  • Audit and document existing networking setups across current and newly acquired locations.
  • Implement and manage centralized monitoring platforms for real-time visibility into network performance, availability, and security (e.g., PRTG, Solar Winds, Datadog).
  • Deploy and manage security appliances, including intrusion detection/prevention systems, logging, and alerting.
  • Oversee physical infrastructure upgrades such as cabling, racks, switches, and wireless access points.
  • Coordinate with local vendors and contractors for installations and network upgrades.
  • Manage Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, One Drive, and Intune.
  • Lead Intune device enrollment across all offices.
  • Administer Azure Active Directory (SSO configuration, user accounts, groups, roles, and permissions).
  • Enforce device security baselines, encryption, and patch management policies.
  • Design and maintain SharePoint sites and intranet content for document management and secure access.
  • Implement and monitor security configurations in compliance with HIPAA standards.
  • Support Denticon and Apteryx/XVWeb platforms, including troubleshooting integrations and workflows.
  • Assist with dental imaging devices across multiple offices, including:
  • X-ray sensors (Dexis, Jazz, Dentimax, Schick, XDR, Rex, etc.)
  • CBCT and panoramic imaging systems
  • Manage driver installation, calibration, and device integration.
  • Support offices with varying imaging software and hardware setups during acquisitions.
Onsite & Field Support
  • Travel to multiple office locations to lead or support infrastructure upgrades, system rollouts, and new device setups.
  • Provide hands-on technical support during office…
