Our client, a leading organization in the technology and data infrastructure sector, is seeking a Data Center Technician to join their team. As a Data Center Technician, you will be part of the Technical IT department supporting critical data center operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

  6-18 Month Contract
• Shift: Day & Night shifts – 12 hour shifts
• Pay:
  Competitive based on years of experience and shift

• Prepare, stage, set up, and perform startups and shutdowns of IT equipment, following specific instructions and safety protocols.
• Conduct post‑execution quality checks to ensure proper grounding, staging, labeling, and cabling.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues, quickly identifying causes and performing break‑fix repairs on faulty components.
• Decommission hardware for system refreshes, including memory upgrades and OS rebuilds.
• Monitor systems for equipment failures or errors and respond to program error messages effectively.

• Computer Science majors OR CompTIA A+ or Server+ certifications.
• Experience working in a Critical/Data Center Environment as a Data Center Technician, with hardware break‑fix responsibilities.
• Previous experience with Geek Squad computer repair or similar computer repair technician roles.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and components.
