Job Overview

Infosys is seeking a Data Power Consultant who is a subject matter expert (SME) in IBM Data Power and a professional with development and design experience. As a Data Power Consultant, you will be primarily responsible for designing, building, testing, supporting, and maintaining software applications, configuring, and securing Data Power appliances and infrastructure.

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 years of relevant Information Technology experience.

• Location for this position is Phoenix, AZ. This position may require travel to project/client location.

• At least 5 years’ hands‑on working experience in IBM Data Power with 4 years of experience in application development and production support.
• Experience working on XI52, IDG, X3 device. Working knowledge of other devices like XB50/52 and XC10 are added as an advantage.
• Hands‑on experience in creating WSP, XFW, MPGW, FSH, and Log targets.
• Experience of programming in XSLT, proficient in XML, sound knowledge on SOA, JavaScript, Webservices, SOAP, WSDL & REST.
• Familiarity with JSON to XML, XML to JSON, and JSON to SOAP transformations using XSLT’s.
• Experience in creating XML schema, JSON schema and development using XSLT and Web Sphere Transformation Extender (WTX) and configuration using Data Power.
• Experience in error handling and troubleshooting in Data Power.
• Understanding of DP Extension functions and working with AAA policy.
• Familiarity with Certificates and Encryption.
• Understanding of SoapUI, Postman and other testing tools for Data Power. Knowledge in JMeter is an added advantage.

The job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
