As a Supervisor IT Network Maintenance & Automation
, you’ll help ensure the communication networks that keep Arizona powered remain reliable, resilient, and ready for the future. This role leads a team responsible for deploying, configuring, and maintaining the systems that support APS’s mission of delivering safe, reliable, and affordable energy to our communities. You will guide network operations
, troubleshoot complex issues, and support critical infrastructure that enables daily business operations. This work directly supports APS’s purpose of doing what is right for the people and prosperity of Arizona through innovation, preparedness, and a strong focus on customer service. Your leadership will help strengthen the foundation for a sustainable energy future for the state.
- Lead the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of network systems to ensure reliable, resilient communication across APS.
- Monitor network infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate timely resolution to protect critical operations.
- Partner with internal teams, service providers, and stakeholders to develop secure, modern network solutions.
- Guide team scheduling, coaching, and performance to support operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Support change management activities and ensure compliance with security and infrastructure standards.
- Contribute to network planning and design to support capacity growth, optimization, and long‑term system health.
- Experienced network engineering professional skilled in design, installation, operations, and security of modern network technologies including routing, switching, firewalls, cloud, wireless, and automation
