The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Client Success Manager to own and grow some of our most important client relationships. This role sits at the center of strategy, communication, and execution — ensuring enterprise and multi-location clients feel supported, informed, and confident in Ambient Skies as their Agency of Record.
You’ll manage day-to-day client communications, guide strategic planning, coordinate internal teams, and proactively identify opportunities to deepen and expand client partnerships. This is a highly visible role that requires strong agency experience, confidence working with senior client stakeholders, and the ability to balance big-picture strategy with operational excellence.
This role reports directly to the Director of Client Success and works closely with Digital Marketing, TRAD Marketing, SEO, Paid Media, Social, Creative, Production, and Web teams.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for assigned enterprise and franchise clients.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with client stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Lead regular client meetings, status calls, and strategic check-ins.
- Ensure clear communication, expectation-setting, and follow-through across all initiatives.
- Translate client business goals into actionable marketing strategies and roadmaps.
- Partner with internal teams to scope, prioritize, and deliver integrated marketing programs.
- Monitor account health across performance, satisfaction, timelines, and risk.
- Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs), performance recaps, and planning sessions.
- Identify opportunities to expand scope through upsells and cross-channel growth.
- Collaborate with the Director of Client Success on account growth plans.
- Support renewals by ensuring consistent value delivery and strong client relationships.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Maintain accurate documentation, notes, and action items across client work.
- Partner with finance/billing to support accurate invoicing, pacing, and forecasting.
- Flag risks early and work proactively to resolve issues.
- Act as a calm, organized leader internally and externally.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior Client Success Managers as needed.
- Share client insights, trends, and feedback with agency leadership.
- 3–5+ years of experience in client success, account management, or partnerships.
- Agency experience required; enterprise, franchise, or multi-location accounts strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage complex accounts with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of integrated marketing services (SEO, paid media, social, creative, web).
- Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on account management.
- Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
- Client retention and satisfaction (CSAT/NPS).
- Account growth through expanded services and increased scope.
- On-time, on-scope delivery of client initiatives.
- Quality of client communication and internal alignment.
- Successful execution of QBRs and strategic planning sessions.
- Work with a collaborative, high-caliber team that genuinely cares about clients and each other.
