Our direct client has an opening for a Business Analyst 636. This position is a 16‑month contract to start with the extension. The client is in W2 only for this client.
Shift 1st Shift Work Schedule Standard. Tentative Shift Start Time 7:00 AM Tentative Shift End Time 4:00 PM.
Skills Required Skill in:- Business and technical requirements for gathering, reviewing, analyzing, documenting, and translating data into functional use cases.
- Verbal and written communications.
- Stakeholder and end‑user relations.
- Time management and organization.
- Analytical research, metrics gathering and problem solving.
- Gather, review, analyze, translate, and document business and technical requirements utilizing established guidelines and formats.
- Develop process flows and systems outlines, project specifications, changes, design modifications, and representative documentation.
- Develop user documentation, training plans, deployment plans, timelines, and associated documentation for both business and software development projects.
- Prioritize and organize tasks to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams, synthesize feedback, and adjust plans accordingly.
- Build strong stakeholder and vendor relationships, understand anticipatory needs, priorities, deadlines and expectations. Work in a prison environment.
- Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile/Scrum, Business Analyst process management, and Project Management;
Visio, Power BI, knowledge of QA functionality/testing, report writing, presentations, all Microsoft and Google applications, metrics and analytics data. - Experience in extra‑large enterprise projects, data systems/data warehouse projects.
- Business Analyst principles and practices.
- Methodologies and techniques for system analysis and design.
- Gathering and documentation requirements.
- Policies, procedures, programs and business goals.
- Business Analyst industry best practices Working management of requirements gathering (technical and business), organization of documentation, coordination and participation in team activities including sprint planning, backlog grooming, user stories, stakeholder communication, stakeholder meetings, meeting minutes, implementations, deployment, training and post‑deployment functions.
- Experience Preferred Working Experience in TFS/Dev Ops and is a plus.
- Education Required Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business.
- Education Preferred Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business, Business Analyst certification.
