We are looking for an experienced SAP BW Developer to design, build, and maintain data warehousing solutions that support reliable reporting, analytics, and business operations. This role focuses on developing scalable data models, optimizing ETL processes, and ensuring data accuracy across SAP landscapes.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain SAP BW objects including Info Providers, DSOs, Info Cubes, Composite Providers, and Multi Providers
- Build and optimize ETL processes using SAP BW, SAP Data Services, or SAP BW/4
HANA tools - Develop and manage data extractions from SAP ECC, S/4
HANA, and non-SAP systems - Create and maintain BW queries using BEx Query Designer or Analysis for Office
- Troubleshoot data load issues, performance problems, and system errors
- Support upgrades, migrations, and enhancements such as BW on HANA or BW/4
HANA transitions - Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Ensure data accuracy, data quality, and strong documentation of BW processes
- Support reporting teams and business users with data validation and issue resolution
- Follow development standards, change management processes, and best practices
- 3+ years of experience as an SAP BW Developer
- Strong experience with SAP BW modeling, ETL, and query development
- Hands-on experience with SAP BW on HANA or BW/4
HANA - Solid understanding of SAP ECC or S/4
HANA data structures - Proficient in ABAP for BW transformations and routines (optional but preferred)
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working in structured SDLC environments
- Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, or other BI tools
- Experience with SAP Data Services or other ETL platforms
- Understanding of SAP authorizations and security within BW
- Experience with Agile delivery
