Job Title: Senior SAP MM Consultant (S/4

HANA) – Manufacturing | Contract Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP MM Consultant with deep expertise in SAP S/4

HANA and advanced Materials Management functionalities to support our manufacturing operations. This is a consulting position for a highly skilled professional who can independently lead MM design, enhancements, and complex integrations.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, supply chain teams, production, procurement, and IT to ensure robust, scalable MM processes aligned with manufacturing best practices.

• Lead end-to-end SAP MM design, configuration, testing, and deployment for S/4
  
  HANA environments
• Support and optimize Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes
• Configure and troubleshoot Inventory Management (IM),
  Purchasing
  , and Material Master
• Implement Advanced MM functionalities
  , including:
• MRP Live
• Source List and Quota Arrangement
• Subcontracting
• Batch Management
• Serial Number Management
• Release Strategies
• Automatic Account Determination
• Special Procurement Types
• Advanced ATP (if cross-functional)
• Collaborate with cross-functional SAP teams (PP, SD, QM, FI, WM/EWM)
• Lead workshops with business users and functional leaders
• Create detailed functional specs for RICEFW objects
• Coordinate with development teams for enhancements, testing, and UAT
• Drive production support, issue resolution, and continuous improvement
• Document functional configurations, process flows, test scripts, and SOPs
• Support integration scenarios within a manufacturing setup (Shop floor, MES, EWM, Ariba, etc.)
• 12+ years of SAP MM functional experience
• Mandatory: Strong experience in SAP S/4
  
  HANA
• Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Deep hands-on knowledge of:
• Purchasing
• Material Master
• MRP / MRP Live
• Inventory & Warehouse Interfaces
• Stock Transport Orders
• Subcontracting
• Consignment & Third-Party Procurement
• Strong experience writing functional specifications for WRICEF/RICEFW
• Strong understanding of FI-MM integration and PP-MM integration
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience supporting global operations is a plus
• Experience working with Ariba
  , EWM
  , or MES integrations
• Exposure to SAP Fiori apps
• Understanding of manufacturing KPIs & supply chain processes
• Prior consulting experience in the Bay Area preferred
