Lead Project Manager - Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager Lead with 13 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Cards & Payments and Asset & Wealth Management domains. This role involves designing and implementing technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency and drive innovation.

• Lead project planning sessions to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Oversee the execution of project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
• Provide guidance on project scope management to prevent scope creep and ensure project deliverables meet expectations.
• Implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential project risks and ensure successful outcomes.
• Coordinate program resource management to optimize resource allocation and utilization across projects.
• Facilitate communication with key stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage IT service management processes to ensure seamless integration and support of project initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management practices and outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met and deliverables are achieved.

• Strong understanding of software development processes and IT systems.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Communication Articulating technical concepts to non-technical audiences and vice versa; active listening, negotiation.

The annual salary for this position is between $129,500 USD to $149,000 USD depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
