Data Engineer
Akkodis is seeking a Platform Architect for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. You will be responsible for architecting and designing scalable big data and optimizing data pipelines for large-scale processing.
Rate Range: $45/hour to $49/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
- Architect and design scalable big data solutions using Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and SQL.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines and workflows for processing large-scale datasets.
- Manage and fine-tune distributed computing frameworks to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Implement data security, governance, and compliance measures in big data environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define data requirements for analytics solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues in big data systems to maintain operational efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or a related field (master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in big data architecture and SQL-based solutions.
- Strong expertise in Hadoop ecosystem tools (Hive, Spark) and distributed computing frameworks.
- Proven experience in designing and optimizing data pipelines and workflows for large-scale datasets.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
