Business Analyst II – BI at Switch Think Solutions
Location:
Phoenix, AZ | Salary: $80,000 – $90,000
With minimal supervision, work with end users, product owners and clients to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring they are clear, complete tightening aligned with the organization's goals. Facilitate discussions to understand the business need of each request, confirm options with the team, recommend solutions, and uncover hidden requirements related to end‑user experience, system impacts, and member impacts—all while maintaining focus on deliverables.
японTranslate requests and projects into technical requirement definitions, capturing the who, what, when, where and why, including any necessary deviations. Work with Data Analysts to complete missing technical details and assist with required documentation. Participate in review of others’ requirements and, as needed, help identify additional documentation, create diagrams, flowcharts, wireframes, and support documents.
Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
What you will need:- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology or related field –
required. - Master’s degree in Business, Information Technology or related field –
preferred. - required.
- 2+ years consecutive, hands‑on IT project experience –
required. - Information technology and/or banking/financial industry experience –
preferred. - Expertise working in a fast‑paced environment, managing ongoing work and multiple medium‑large complexity projects with minimal oversight –
required. - Demonstrated knowledge of databases, reports, dashboards, visualizations and analytic models –
required. - Strong attention to detail –
required. - Ability to prioritize work within time constraints –
required. - Strong organizational and follow‑up skills –
required. - Strong relationship‑building and customer‑service skills, ability to work cross‑functional –
required. - Ability to write basic SQL queries –
required. - Competency with JIRA or similar work management software –
required. - Competence with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, Visio) –
required. - Expertise with a visualization platform (Power
BI or Tableau) –
preferred. - Expertise with both Waterfall and Agile development methodologies –
preferred.
