Summary:
A large public-sector organization is undertaking a major upgrade to its asset management system. This initiative requires strong cross-team coordination between IT, business units, and enterprise technology stakeholders. We are seeking a Technology Operations Coordinator to serve as the central liaison, ensuring seamless communication, alignment, and execution across all parties involved in this mission-critical program.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership & Requirements Alignment:
* Act as a strategic partner to help define project goals and ensure delivery of value-added solutions
* Collaborate with business units to understand operational needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements for IT teams
* Serve as the bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure solutions align with intended business outcomes
Coordination & Project Enablement:
* Coordinate and manage competing priorities across interdisciplinary teams while maintaining alignment with project objectives
* Translate business requirements into concise deliverables and documentation for technical teams
* Maintain strong follow-through by tracking assigned tasks, ensuring accountability, and monitoring timely completion of action items
Communication & Reporting:
* Prepare business cases, executive summaries, and documentation that connect business needs with technology or process improvements
* Facilitate clear, effective communication using strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
* Establish and maintain routine cadences (daily/weekly) through status meetings, progress reports, and summary updates to stakeholders
Compliance & Governance:
* Support adherence to IT audit procedures, governance standards, and regulatory requirements
* Ensure project activities align with established organizational policies and quality expectations
* Experience in Business Analysis, Business Relationship Management, Operations, or IT Project Management within a large municipal, enterprise, or utility environment
* Demonstrated success collaborating across diverse, interdisciplinary teams
* Strong documentation and communication skills, including the ability to prepare executive-level reporting
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
* Experience supporting asset management systems or large-scale IT modernization initiatives
* Understanding of IT audit processes and regulatory compliance frameworks
* Familiarity with municipal, public-sector, or utility operations
* Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
