Talascend is currently seeking a Technical Support Specialist for a contract opportunity with our client in Phoenix, Arizona
.
This role is critical to maintaining seamless operations and ensuring high-quality service delivery during U.S. business hours.
Responsibilities- Provide technical assistance via phone, email, and in-person requests.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VMware, Windows, Linux, and basic scripting.
- Document, track, and monitor incidents to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with team members to identify recurring issues and recommend improvements.
- Follow established procedures and guidelines to perform job functions.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism.
- Associates degree in a related field preferred.
- 0-2 years of experience in technical support or a related area.
- Familiarity with commonly-used IT concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to follow instructions and work under close supervision.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- VMware administration
- Windows and Linux system administration
- Basic scripting (e.g., Power Shell, Bash)
- Customer service and support experience
