System Administrator – Senior Application Systems Support Analyst

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Contract)

Pay Range: $40.00 – $50.00/hr

Company: College of Medicine – Phoenix (via TEKsystems)

This position is anticipated to close on January 16, 2026.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and optimize enterprise applications, ensuring full capability and architectural alignment.
  • Collaborate closely with application vendors and College of Medicine development teams to resolve technical issues and plan future initiatives.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and ongoing training to staff, faculty, and students.
  • Administer security/authorization setup, technical system documentation, data interface design, data migration, and reconciliation.
  • Conduct risk assessments and perform security configuration to comply with UA security standards.
  • Troubleshoot and own production issues, resolving independently or coordinating with vendors or technical teams.
  • Manage application configuration, ensuring admin accounts and permissions meet HIPAA and FERPA regulations.
  • Develop and enforce best practices, policies, and procedures for supported systems.
  • Perform data analytics, extract, and report as required to support system operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional-level experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in enterprise software applications and SaaS offerings.
  • Knowledge of enterprise software applications, security best practices, and current application security technologies.
  • Skill in analyzing and responding to user requests, writing technical and functional documentation, and developing test plans.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to train non-technical personnel.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Preferred: 3+ years of experience in installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of an enterprise application; ITIL experience a plus.
