Job Description
Infosys is seeking a SailPoint Architect
. This candidate is responsible for playing the technical role in the setup, support, enhancements, and application integration/migration of the SailPoint Identity
IQ & Identity Now (7.x, 8.x) system in client environments and assisting in keeping the platform stable, highly available, and meeting compliance requirements. The candidate must have a strong understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM) including Provisioning, User Lifecycle Management, Access Requests and Approvals, Segregation of Duties (SoD), RBAC, ABAC, Certifications, Compliance, Single Sign On (SSO), Authentication, Authorization, and Connectors.
The Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) are skilled technical and consultative resources expected to be strong in both technical and soft skills. An SME must be a proven self-starter with the ability to problem‑solve, communicate, participate in diverse project teams from a technical perspective, and interface effectively with customers, vendor partners, and colleagues.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered in lieu of each year of education.
- At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.
- The candidate must be located within commuting distance of Charlotte, NC or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

- Proven ability to lead architecture discussions and engage with clients and vendors.
- SailPoint IAM expertise, hands‑on SailPoint Identity
IQ (8.x) and/or Identity Security Cloud (ISC), including architecture, lifecycle management (JML), access certifications, and governance. - Integration & technical skills: strong experience integrating IAM with AD, Azure Entra , LDAP, and enterprise apps using Java, Bean Shell/JavaScript, SQL, and SCIM, SAML, OAuth, REST/SOAP. Experience across Windows and Linux environments.
- AWS cloud experience and IaC (Terraform/Packer).
- Dev Ops tools:
Git/Git Hub, Jenkins. - RBAC / ABAC concepts.
- SSO & federation troubleshooting (SAML, OAuth, ADFS).
- SailPoint connectors & deployment experience.
- Exposure to Okta / Forge Rock.
- ITIL processes & Agile delivery.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Shell Scripting, Power Shell, JavaScript, Groovy, Core Java, J2EE, J2SE, PL/SQL.
- Knowledge of integration of applications with industry standards using SAML, OpenID, and OAuth.
- Knowledge of AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, Route
53, ALB, Cloud Watch) & Dev Ops tools (Git, Jenkins, XL Release, etc.). - Troubleshooting experience of SSO, SAML, OpenID, OAuth, ADFS AD Connect issues.
- Experience in the deployment of connectors and configuration across the environment.
- Experience in Okta/SailPoint/Forge Rock IAM will be extra handy.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes;
