Sr Web Developer

Position Summary

The Sr Web Developer is responsible for the development of Phoenix Children’s consumer-facing web properties and digital assets. Working with the Digital Services team, this position plans, designs and develops UX‑focused solutions that support the company’s vision and goals. The Sr Web Developer helps identify new technology, vet out technical requirements and perform the implementation as needed while maintaining the day-to-day web development operations.

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, systems/business analysis, systems administration, management information systems or computer science, or related field. (Required)
• Master's Degree in marketing, business, systems/business analysis, systems administration, management information systems or computer science, or related field. (Preferred)

• Five (5) years of experience in enterprise Drupal-based theming and front-end development. (Required)
• Hands‑on experience designing, developing and successful deployment of large Drupal websites from end‑to‑end. (Required)
• Experience working with Drupal 9 and 10; developing and maintaining custom modules. (Required)
• Working/functional experience with website design, development and programming, including technologies such as PHP, mySQL, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, Web Content Accessibility. (Required)
• Experience working with API connections and integrations. (Required)
• Experience working with Marketing Technology partners including CRM/CDP/ESP/MA integrations. (Preferred)

• No certification/license/registry requirements have been added to this JDR. (Required)

• Deep understanding of full stack technology and the ability to clearly communicate requirements to stakeholders and partners. (Required)
• Deep knowledge of various content management systems, website frameworks/technologies and building website platforms. (Required)
• Very strong organizational skills; attention to detail; and the ability to manage multiple projects with lots of details. (Required)
• Extensive knowledge of UX/UI design and creating user‑centric websites for conversion‑based results. (Preferred)
• Understanding of server infrastructure, security and domain/DNS services. (Preferred)
• Working knowledge of SEO, SEM, Analytics, A/B Testing, Personalization and how it applies to healthcare. (Preferred)
• Understanding of App Development and the ability to work as an IT Stakeholder. (Preferred)
