About the Role

As Website Manager, you will own and manage the company’s online presence. You’ll ensure our website is technically sound, secure, up-to-date, aligned with our brand and business strategy, and optimized to drive marketing goals (lead generation, brand awareness, conversions). You’ll collaborate closely with marketing, sales, human resources, and compliance to deliver a high-performing, user-friendly website.

Key Responsibilities
  • Website maintenance & technical operations
    • Oversee day-to-day website administration: manage hosting, domain registration, SSL certificates, server settings, DNS, backups.
    • Monitor site performance, uptime, page-load speeds, responsiveness (desktop/mobile), and overall technical health.
    • Troubleshoot technical problems (broken links, server errors, security issues, plugin/extension conflicts) and coordinate fixes or updates.
  • Content & design management
    • Publish and update content (web pages, landing pages, blog posts, images/videos) in collaboration with marketing or content teams.
    • Audit existing content periodically — remove outdated material, avoid duplication, ensure compliance with legal/industry regulations.
    • Manage site structure & navigation (sitemaps, page hierarchy, content organization) to ensure user-friendly UX and align with brand guidelines.
  • Digital marketing, SEO & analytics
    • Implement and oversee SEO best practices (on-page SEO, metadata, image optimization, site structure) to improve search visibility and drive organic traffic.
    • Set up and manage analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Tag Manager or equivalent) to monitor site traffic, user behavior, conversions, and KPIs — use data to recommend improvements.
    • Work with marketing team to support campaigns (landing pages, content updates, digital ads or PPC where relevant), ensuring website supports lead generation and brand messaging.
  • User experience (UX), compliance & optimization
    • Ensure the website is accessible, mobile‑friendly, secure, and compliant with relevant regulations.
    • Continuously review and optimize user journeys — make it easy for visitors to find information, contact the company, or convert (sign up, request contact, etc.).
  • Collaboration & coordination
    • Act as primary liaison between technical (IT/web hosting) and marketing/design/content stakeholders.
    • Maintain documentation of site structure, processes (content updates, backups, security), and standards for future reference and onboarding.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) — e.g. Word Press, Squarespace, etc.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (basic-to-intermediate) and familiarity with web‑hosting, domains, SSL, DNS, backups, server maintenance.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices, analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics), and digital marketing fundamentals (content marketing, landing pages, conversion tracking).
  • Good eye for UX, design‑awareness (or ability to coordinate with designers), attention to detail, and strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills — ability to coordinate across departments (marketing, compliance, IT).
  • For regulated sectors like finance: familiarity with compliance, privacy, and security standards relevant to web presence is a plus.
