Systems Analyst, Data Analyst
RESPONSIBILITIES
Kforce has a client in Phoenix, AZ looking for an experienced Lead Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to drive requirements gathering, system validation, and testing initiatives. This role serves as a key link between business objectives and technical solutions, ensuring systems are designed, implemented, and tested to meet organizational needs. The ideal candidate will lead analysis efforts, oversee quality assurance processes, and collaborate across teams to deliver reliable solutions.
RequirementsAnalysis & Documentation
- Partner with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
- Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications
- Ensure solutions align with organizational goals and system capabilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate with business users for validation
- Document and track defects; collaborate with technical teams to resolve issues
- Maintain compliance with established testing standards and best practices
- Serve as the primary liaison between business teams, IT, and QA
- Facilitate workshops, walkthroughs, and review sessions to ensure clarity and alignment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- 3 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, including 2 years in a lead capacity
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, integration, UAT)
- Hands‑on experience with test script creation and execution
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
