About the Role

This role requires strong Agile/Scrum leadership, vendor coordination experience, and advanced proficiency with Azure Dev Ops or similar project tracking tools.

Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional project teams through the full project lifecycle, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Facilitate all Agile ceremonies:
    Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with program work streams to manage and resolve dependencies.
  • Work closely with vendors to align on sprint deliverables and program increments.
  • Maintain and track all project progress using Azure Dev Ops Boards (or Jira, Git Lab, etc.).
  • Manage third-party vendors, ensuring performance metrics, SLAs, and contract obligations are met.
  • Develop and maintain risk management plans.
  • Ensure all policies, compliance needs, and security practices are embedded into project plans.
  • Support organizational change management (OCM) by coordinating communication, preparing users, and managing resistance.
  • Develop and maintain all project documentation: project charters, schedules, RACIs, post-mortems, etc.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years (96 months) of project management experience.
  • Minimum 3 years (36 months) of experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Experience with implementation of COTS/ERP/CRM projects (tenure may vary).
  • Experience managing integration-focused or data-focused projects.
  • Proficiency with Azure Dev Ops, Jira, Git Lab, or equivalent project tracking tools.
  • Demonstrated experience managing external vendors, including issue resolution and performance tracking.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while driving alignment across technical and non-technical groups.
Required Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
  • Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
  • SAFe Certification or PMP credential.
  • Experience in government, public sector, or regulated environments (preferred; tenure flexible).
  • Prior hands‑on experience as a developer or similar technical role.
  • Experience in entrepreneurial/start‑up environments.
