SAP Data Migration Consultant

The SAP Data Migration Consultant will be responsible for identifying, cleansing, validating, and migrating legacy data to SAP systems, with a strong focus on Sales and Distribution (SD) processes. The ideal candidate should bring hands-on experience in SAP data migration tools, execution of LSMWs, and a proven track record in SAP implementation and data reconciliation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify and map legacy data for migration into SAP.
• Support data cleansing efforts in coordination with business teams.
• Execute migration rehearsals, cutover activities, and post go-live data support.
• Conduct preload and post-load validation to ensure data integrity.
• Handle fallout data and provide advisory on required cleansing.
• Participate in cutover planning and develop data migration runbooks.
• Provide consulting support directly to business stakeholders during the data migration lifecycle.
• Ensure correctness and completeness of data migration tasks.

• Strong SAP Order Management background, specifically in Sales and Distribution (SD).
• Experience with SD master data (Customer Masters) and transactional data (Sales Orders).
• Proficiency in using and executing standard LSMWs.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP tables and data structures for both master and transactional data.
• Extensive hands-on experience in SAP data migration projects.
• Strong skills in data analysis, reconciliation, and validation.
• Experience in cutover planning for SAP go-lives.
• Excellent consulting and communication skills with client-facing capability.

Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction.
