Healthcare Enterprise Architect

Overview

Inte Pros is seeking a hands-on Enterprise Architect with deep expertise in the U.S. healthcare ecosystem—specifically within home health and post-acute care. This individual will define and drive the technical architecture and enterprise blueprint that supports rapid organizational growth. The ideal candidate combines business acumen and technical depth, with proven experience architecting and deploying solutions in Microsoft Azure. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including engineering, product management, data, and infrastructure—to design scalable, interoperable systems that advance patient care and operational excellence.

• Design and maintain enterprise architecture blueprints aligned to business and product strategies.
• Partner with product owners and business stakeholders to translate core processes into scalable technical solutions.
• Map and optimize data flows across operational platforms, data lakes/warehouses, and external partners.
• Drive architectural decisions on interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7, EDI X12 such as 837i and 278).
• Evaluate and recommend build vs. buy approaches with a long-term platform strategy in mind.
• Prototype, test, and deliver proof-of-concept solutions to engineering teams in a cloud-native environment.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure alignment with regulatory and compliance requirements (HIPAA and related frameworks).

• 10+ years in software architecture, with strong focus on U.S. healthcare systems, home health, and post-acute care.
• Experience working with both health systems and payers.
• Deep expertise in interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7, EDI X12) and healthcare compliance frameworks (HIPAA).
• Demonstrated success designing and deploying Azure-based solutions.
• Strong background in data engineering concepts and system integration across complex environments.
• Proven experience in agile environments and working closely with software engineering teams.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare is highly desirable.
• Experience integrating with EHRs, EMRs, and payer systems preferred.
• SaaS product development lifecycle experience is a plus.
• Highly detail-oriented, with strong follow-up and follow-through abilities.
• Ability to thrive in diverse, cross-functional environments while handling sensitive information with discretion.
