WOODPATEL is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst of Information Technology specializing in systems and networking. This person will assist the IT Manager in delegated duties of the IT department including day-to-day management of servers and end users ensuring the company is functioning optimally. This person will work closely with our IT Manager to build and deliver a robust and stable IT platform and system needs.
The role involves hands‑on work with cutting‑edge technologies and collaboration across diverse technical domains.
- Guide the day-to-day activities to ensure effective delivery of technical solutions and foster growth and development.
- Design, implement, and manage advanced network architectures across a variety of client environments.
- Configure and optimize Autodesk, Bentley and Microsoft 365 platforms to meet organizational requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to translate technical needs into actionable solutions.
- Deliver onsite technical support on a daily basis.
- Ensure security and compliance across all systems and networks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking and system issues efficiently.
- Provide detailed documentation and reports on system configurations and network operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred. Comparable certifications will be considered.
- 7+ years of progressive IT experience, preferably within the architectural and engineering industry or similar industry.
- Advanced networking expertise, including routing, switching, firewalls, VLANs, and VPNs.
- Hands‑on experience with Active Directory and Sonic Wall firewalls.
- Proficiency with cybersecurity tools and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration.
- Knowledge of Autodesk and Bentley software is preferred.
- Experience supporting remote users and multiple office locations.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
