SAP ABAP Developer

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with specialized expertise in Grouping, Pegging, and Distribution (GPD) to join our SAP delivery team.

This role focuses on designing and developing custom ABAP solutions to optimize GPD processes and ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, deep functional knowledge, and a collaborative mindset.

• Design, develop, test, and implement custom ABAP solutions including reports, enhancements, forms, workflows, and interfaces, with a focus on GPD functionality.
• Collaborate with business and functional consultants to gather requirements and create detailed technical specifications.
• Develop solutions supporting GPD processes:
• Grouping:
  Manage cost/material groupings across projects.
• Pegging:
  Trace consumption and demand-supply relationships.
• Distribution:
  Allocate costs/materials accurately across WBS elements or projects.
• Conduct code reviews, debugging, optimization, and performance tuning of ABAP programs.
• Support end-to-end testing cycles including unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Ensure compliance with SAP best practices, coding standards, and security policies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong expertise in Grouping, Pegging, and Distribution (GPD) processes.
• Proficiency in ABAP Objects, ALV, BAPIs, BADIs, enhancements, user exits, RFCs, IDocs, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms.
• Solid understanding of SAP modules commonly integrated with GPD, including:
• PP (Production Planning)
• PS (Project System)
• FI/CO (Finance & Controlling)
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
