Director, IT Apps
Join QUANTUM GLOBAL TECHNOLOGIES, LLC as the Director of IT Applications to lead enterprise-wide application strategy, implementation, and management. This role drives innovation through integrations, enhancements, and application portfolio optimization while ensuring security, compliance, and performance.
Responsibilities- Maintain and manage the Business Application portion of the IT Project Portfolio.
- Manage projects and resources to ensure scope, budget, and timeline expectations are met.
- Oversee UCT’s ERP, PLM, MES, and other critical systems, including COTS and home‑grown applications.
- Manage key business applications such as HRIS, Travel, and Expense management.
- Lead a globally distributed team of Business Analysts, Project Managers, and Developers.
- Develop and implement programs to enhance team skillsets and manage growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to evaluate, select, and deploy applications.
- Assess business requirements and recommend new applications, enhancements, and integrations.
- Maintain documentation and policies related to business applications with a focus on compliance and security.
- Build relationships with vendors to align with product roadmaps and optimize costs.
- 10+ years of experience in ERP, with SAP experience a plus.
- 7–10 years in multiple IT areas, with 2–4 years of relevant domain experience.
- Advanced knowledge of architecture, application design, system engineering, and integration.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a multi‑geography IT team.
- Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication, relationship building, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience supporting IT compliance related to SOX, security, and software licensing.
- Experience implementing, configuring, integrating, designing, building, and deploying applications.
- Experience hiring resources in the US and Asia.
- Understanding of ERP architecture and cloud deployment (AWS/Azure).
- Experience working in a SCRUM or Agile environment desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, or related field.
