System Administrator – Mid-Level – Windows
A local fire safety technology company in Phoenix, Arizona is seeking a System Administrator to join their growing IT team. This 12‑month contract role focuses on maintaining and improving internal infrastructure across Microsoft environments. You’ll work closely with internal users and technical staff to ensure the systems that support the organization’s life safety operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Required Skills & Experience- Experience with Active Directory (preferably Azure AD)
- Office 365 and Dynamics 365 experience
- Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) experience
- Experience working with firewalls
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent hands‑on experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Issue Trak or Service Now
The role is 100% Microsoft Systems and 100% hands‑on. You will collaborate closely with the team and support critical life‑safety infrastructure.
Daily Responsibilities- Hands‑on administration of Microsoft environments and SCCM
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues for end users and critical systems
- Applying patches, updates, and configuration changes to maintain system performance and security
- Documenting procedures, changes, and incidents in the ticketing system
Work collaboratively with internal users and technical staff to support the organization’s mission‑driven life‑safety operations.
