Job DescriptionThe Human Resources Generalist will play a key role in supporting approximately 300 employees across multiple locations. This is a bilingual role (English/Spanish) responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations, supporting leadership, and ensuring compliance with state and federal employment laws.
Key Responsibilities- Manage core HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, and leave administration.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers on employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation.
- Oversee workers’ compensation claims and coordinate with insurance providers.
- Administer FMLA, ADA, and other leave programs while ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
- Support and maintain the HRIS system, serving as the main point of contact for troubleshooting and training (Paycom preferred).
- Partner with leadership to promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Maintain accurate employee records and assist with compliance reporting and audits.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish – required
- 3+ years of HR Generalist experience supporting diverse employee groups
- Experience with in manufacturing, construction, or similar “hands-on” environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance, and best practices
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (Paycom experience highly preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with flexibility - Reporting to:
