Position: Total Rewards Manager

You will play a key role in shaping how employees are supported, rewarded, and engaged as the company continues to scale. Initially, this role will be highly execution-focused, establishing structure, processes, and partnerships. Over time, it will evolve into a leadership position with responsibility for building and developing a broader total rewardsfunction.

Key Areas of Responsibility Benefits Administration and Optimization
  • Oversee health, welfare, and leave programs, ensuring they are competitive, compliant, and well-managed
  • Serve as the primary contact for benefits vendors and brokers
  • Lead annual open enrollment and ongoing benefits communications
Compensation Framework Development
  • Design and maintain salary structures, incentive programs, and career progression frameworks
  • Support leaders with compensation guidance tied to performance, growth, and retention
Compliance and Risk Management
  • Ensure programs comply with applicable federal, state, and regulations including ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, FMLA, and ADA
  • Maintain accurate documentation and support audits as needed
Employee Communication and Experience
  • Clearly explain rewards programs in a way that is accessible, transparent, and employee-focused
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees navigating benefits and compensation questions
Systems, Data, and Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Maintain data integrity across HRIS and benefits platforms
  • Partner closely with Payroll, Finance, and Safety to ensure alignment across systems and processes
Future Team Leadership
  • As the function grows, recruit, mentor, and manage analysts supporting benefits and compensation administration
What We’re Looking For
  • Five or more years of experience in benefits and compensation, including at least two years in a leadership or senior individual contributor role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (advanced degree a plus)
  • Experience supporting field-based or operational organizations preferred
  • Strong Excel skills and experience working within HRIS platforms
  • Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, CEBS, or CCP are highly valued
  • Bilingual English and Spanish capabilities are a plus
