About Our Property
The Marriott Phoenix Chandler, located in Chandler – a Southeast suburb of Phoenix – is the newest Full Service Marriott in the state of Arizona. Featuring 264 guest rooms and over 21,000 sq ft of event space, this hotel has the largest ballroom in Chandler, AZ. The hotel includes Proof ’19 with handcrafted cocktails, local beers, and Southwest cuisine, plus a Starbucks Café providing morning coffee and a variety of breakfast options.
The venue is situated within the Price Road Corridor, near Arizona’s largest employers.
What You Will Have An Opportunity To Do
- Help guests discover their “Wanderlust” experience
- Provide exceptional customer service by being engaging and taking sincere interest
- Establish relationships with local area restaurants, shops, and attractions
- Help resolve problems and “WOW” guests through recovery when things aren’t quite right
- Promote and sell special hotel programs
- Interact with hotel/resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information
- Communicate all pertinent information to manager on duty
- Assist other departments as needed
What Are We Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A strong desire to make an impact on other people
- An outgoing and engaging personality
- Advanced knowledge of the local area
- Computer skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced setting
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
- Must be available to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
Compensation
Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location.
