Core Equipment Coordinator

Overview

Under the guidance of the Clinical Resource Leader/Nurse Manager, this role leads and coordinates the daily work of Core Technicians in the Operating Room. The position serves as a hands-on resource and mentor, ensuring Core Techs are well-trained, supported, and aligned with OR standards and best practices.

• Planning, prioritizing, and overseeing Core Tech workflows to support safe, efficient surgical operations
• Providing training, coaching, and real-time guidance to Core Technicians
• Serving as the primary resource for OR equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational readiness
• Partnering with clinical leadership to ensure equipment reliability, compliance, and continuous improvement

Hourly Pay Rate: $17.54 - $25.87

• Education: Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience: Must have a minimum of one (1) comparable center core tech-related experience that demonstrates an understanding of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Prefer related operating room experience.
• Specialized Training: Prefer Stealth Navigation or Robotic training.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must have knowledge of asepsis, sterilization, operating room equipment, and supply management. Must be able to troubleshoot equipment and assemble/operate complex equipment. Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English. Must have technical knowledge and skills to operate and troubleshoot technical procedures. Must have sound communication skills to interact with diverse groups.
