Overview
Nest Health is the first value-based care provider built for families, on a mission to make comprehensive medical, behavioral, and social care radically accessible to America’s highest risk families. Nest was founded in 2022 by Dr. Rebekah Gee and Rebecca Kavoussi. The model includes family-based, in-home and virtual care, covering primary adult and pediatric care, mental health and nutrition support, vaccinations and labs, same- and next-day acute visits, chronic condition and transitions of care management, social services and navigation, and more.
Nest’s approach has led to partnerships and national traction across states and payers, laying the groundwork for future expansion to families nationwide.
Working at a healthcare startup can be a fast-paced, dynamic experience with varied workloads, quick changes, and high expectations. You will have the opportunity to be high impact in disrupting the US healthcare system, be creative and solution-oriented, and have your voice heard. You may need to be flexible, accountable, and self-sufficient, and you might take on multiple roles. Here are some things you can expect:
- Role breadth – the role may be less defined with the need to wear multiple hats and juggle responsibilities.
- Learning opportunities – you may function outside of your standard position and learn about new areas.
- Fast paced – startups move quickly; you may be asked to adapt to changes in systems or processes.
- Autonomy – high degree of independence with less structure and development than in large organizations; you may need to learn asynchronously and ask for help when needed.
- Collaboration – strong communication across functions to implement changes and support a seamless patient experience; feedback is frequent.

As a key member of the local market team, you will cultivate a positive, collaborative, and high-performing market culture, fostering team engagement, operational excellence, and a positive experience for staff and families.
You will support essential operational functions that keep clinics running smoothly and enable consistent, compassionate, and reliable care. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to impact an evolving care model and help drive Nest’s mission forward.
