Medical Scribe – Advanced Spine And Pain (ASAP)
We are hiring a Medical Assistant‑Scribe to support our providers in real‑time clinical documentation. Working under direct supervision, you will help ensure accurate, timely records while maintaining a positive, professional demeanor with patients, providers, and staff.

- Navigate the EHR to retrieve and enter documentation.
- Maintain working knowledge of common medications, including dosages and indications.
- Troubleshoot incorrect medication orders and alert the provider.
- Access UDS/Oral Swab results and relay information to provider as appropriate.
- Document all visit information as instructed by the provider.
- Apply ICD‑10 and CPT codes accurately.
- Use general medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology knowledge in documentation.
- Act as liaison with the administrative and billing departments to ensure accurate records.
- Ensure the provider completes all steps of the discharge process.
- Troubleshoot data entry errors and correct or elevate to the EHR manager in a timely manner.
- Review phone notes and communicate with triage.
- Communicate directly with patients in person or electronically.
- Assist medical assistants with workflow as needed.
- Perform administrative duties such as assigning documents and clerical tasks.
- Schedule appointments when appropriate.
- Proven experience as a medical assistant, front and/or back‑office.
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures.
- Excellent time‑management and multitasking skills.
- Strong organizational and planning abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Social perceptiveness with a service‑oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in MS Office and patient‑management software.
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant training program or an LPN license preferred.
- Medical assistant experience preferred.
- Experience in pain management preferred.
- Bilingual language skills preferred.
- Willingness to travel to multiple locations if required.
