Research Technologist III

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Research Tech, you will perform standard laboratory procedures with some independence, under the general supervision of a PI or Research Technician. Your contributions are vital for efficient lab operations. Every day you will execute experimental protocols, collect/record data, and maintain lab equipment. You may also perform complex procedures and provide guidance to students. To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong foundation in lab techniques, meticulous attention to detail, and work effectively independently and collaboratively.

• Keeps accurate records of studies conducted with minimal guidance.
• Substantively contributes to advanced data analysis and interpretation with minimal guidance.
• Creates, maintains, and updates lab's internal procedure manuals.
• Presents findings regularly at internal lab meetings
• Participates substantively in raising laboratory visibility by presenting findings at national meetings as requested.

• Bachelors Other and work experience in a related field, upon hire and
• Four (4) years of experience in a research clinical, or other scientific environment and
• None, upon hire

• Masters Other and Six (6) years of prior work experience in aresearch, clinical, or other scientific environment, upon hire
