Part-Time Nutrition and Dietetics Technician, Registered

Overview

RD Nutrition Consultants is seeking a qualified Nutrition and Dietetics Technician, Registered (NDTR) to provide nutrition support services in partnership with healthcare facilities. This is a part-time position (16–24 hours per week) supporting clinical and patient-centered nutrition care. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in healthcare environments under the supervision of a Registered Dietitian.

  Part-time, approximately 16–24 hours per week
• Setting:
  Healthcare / clinical nutrition services
• Compensation: $20.00–$26.00 per hour, depending on experience
• Additional Benefits:
  Paid travel time and mileage reimbursement

• Provide nutrition support services under the direction and supervision of a Registered Dietitian
• Assist with nutrition screenings, documentation, and follow-up
• Support patient meal planning and nutrition care coordination
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and food service staff
• Travel to assigned facilities as part of routine job duties
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with company and facility standards
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Nutrition and Dietetics Technician, Registered (NDTR) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• Experience in healthcare, long-term care, or clinical nutrition preferred
• Knowledge of basic nutrition principles and therapeutic diets
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote clinical team
• Reliable transportation required
