Position Summary

This position provides direct oversight of all reporting and database systems related to Center for Family Health and Safety. Develops, customizes, maintains and administers multiple databases for the Center for Family Health and Safety. Trains program coordinators and ensures accurate data input into the Center systems. Collaborates with program leadership members to meet grant funders reporting requirements. Partners with various departments to coordinate reporting processes.

Under the supervision of the Manager of the Center for Family Health and Safety, this position also coordinates grants, works closely with program administrators, community funders, governmental agencies, foundation staff and finance to ensure accurate financial grant reporting, and compiles program progress and outcomes. Coordinates, plans, and implements special events at the Hospital and community.

Position Duties
  • Reconciles monthly grant funding and expenditures for the department. Creates grant reports in collaboration with the Manager for Center for Family Health and Safety.
  • Collects and analyzes data, and performs process improvement using Red Cap, Arc GIS mapping software, and program databases.
  • Manages all operational database aspects of the Center for Family Health and Safety.
  • Participates in or leads initiatives to design and implement special events. Manages and monitors volunteers for events. Delegates responsibilities to staff, volunteers, and or interns.
  • Provides administrative support to the Manager and program coordinators for the Center for Family Health and Safety.
  • Provides backup support for child passenger safety consults inpatient as well as in the community.
  • Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.

Position Qualifications

Education
  • 1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business or closely related field. An equivalent 1:1 education/relevant work experience may substitute for each year of college not completed. Required
Experience
  • 1. Prior job experience working with grant and financial management. Required
  • 2. Three (3) years of experience working in hospital or medical setting. Required
Special Skills
  • 1. Ability to analyze complex data and data collection; develop methods to obtain accurate, useful output and produce comprehensive reports. Required
  • 2. Skills in developing and maintaining effective working relationships, work collaboratively with other professionals, maintaining confidentiality. Required
  • 3. Effective Project management skills to meet multiple project deadlines. Required
  • 4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and MS Access database management. Required
Additional Requirements
  • 1. Current BLS Certification. Preferred
  • 2. Child Passenger Safety Technician Certification. Preferred
