Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• 4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks required

• Holiday coverage based on unit coverage needs

• Patient ratio of 1:2 in ICU setting

• Float to all ICU floors and telemetry units with 4:1 ratio on telemetry

• Must have 2 years ICU experience in large hospitalbeds)

• Level 1 trauma experience required

• EVD (External Ventricular Drain) experience required

• Will consider 18 months of experience if coming from Neuro ICU unit

• Strong neuro assessment skills and ICP monitoring experience required

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS

• Must pass Day 1 orientation exam (pass/fail)

• Complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes

• Must have natural hair color and no facial piercings

• Men must be clean-shaven for fit test

• Work with Cerner EMR system and Phillips monitors

• May be placed on standby for scheduled shifts

• 2 shifts of floor-specific orientation provided

• Care for patients with neurological diagnoses requiring critical care

• Hospital performs cranial procedures, brain tumor removal, brain biopsies, and complex spine surgeries

The facility operates as a Level 1 trauma center with a 32-bed Neuro ICU and provides comprehensive neurological care including advanced procedures such as brain tumor ablations, complex spine surgeries, and scoliosis repair.

The facility maintains 24/7 respiratory therapy and pharmacy services, supporting critical care operations around the clock.
