Day Shift
Quail Run Behavioral Health Hospital in Phoenix is seeking a dynamic and talented Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals.
The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) functions as an active and integral part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients. The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) works under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor each patient’s location per the Observation Policy and Procedure.
- Assist with Vistation in the evenings.
- Utilize sound judgment during assessment and observe and document any changes in a patient's appearance, behavior or ability to work toward treatment plan goals.
- Follow the therapeutic interventions outlined by the treatment team for each patient.
- Comply with the established policies and procedures requiring a safe, clean and therapeutic environment.
Job Requirements:
- Experience working in a behavioral health care setting with adolescents.
- High School Diploma or GED as well as a combination of behavioral health education and work experience totaling 4 years.
- Current CPR or BLS certification.
- Successful completion of (SAMA) including restraint and seclusion policies, within 30 days of employment.
- Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Quail Run is a 102-bed acute care psychiatric hospital located in Phoenix, Arizona. It offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs for adolescents, adults, and seniors.
