Program Supervisor BHT

CBI is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient-centered medical homes, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services throughout Arizona to individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness.

Job Summary

The Program Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the program, providing guidance and directions to assigned staff including training, scheduling, skills and knowledge verification, ensuring staff adhere to agency policy and procedure. The supervisor will provide direct service to members as needed, participate in staffing and shadow staff for quality assurance, represent the program and agency positively, coordinate with community partners, assist with program presentations, and participate in meetings with the funder when necessary.

The supervisor will manage data quality of HMIS entries, ensure staff complete daily staffing emails, service transactions, and case notes as indicated in the program-specific desktop procedures.

Skills / Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree or higher in a field related to behavioral health preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in the behavioral health field required.
  • Minimum of one (1) of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred.
  • Current AZ Driver’s License (valid and in good standing) required for Housing program staff.
  • Clear 39-month Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required for Housing program staff.
  • Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) in accordance with A.A.C. R and CBI Clinical Policies and Procedures.
  • Fingerprint Clearance Card preferred.
  • Peer Certification (if applicable).
