Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of inpatient/ER CT experience and ARRT (R)(CT) certification for an acute care assignment.

• Work in a busy acute care CT Scan department handling both inpatient and ER cases
• Five procedure rooms with two located in the ER and three in the main radiology department
• Approximately 25 cases per day depending on inpatient and ER volume
• Common exams include routine CT, CTA with perfusion, and trauma scans
• Uses GE scanners (required experience) and Philips ICT (preferred), with Med Rad injectors
• EMR system is Cerner with PACS DR systems
• Night shift position:
  Thursday through Saturday, 5:30 PM to 6:00 AM, 12-hour shifts
• No call or floating required
• Orientation includes at least one week of 1-on-1 training with another CT technologist
• Fast-paced environment with other CT technologists available for support
• Scrub color is teal
• Pharmacy and radiology tech staff available 24/7
• Not every weekend is required, based on scheduling needs
• No holiday coverage required
• Returning candidates must not have been directly employed by Common Spirit, CHI, or Dignity within the past year
• Permanent residence may be subject to specific radius requirements for eligibility depending on the state

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in inpatient or ER CT
• Active ARRT (R)(CT) and BLS certifications required
• MRTBE CRT and CTCT certifications required
• Proficiency with GE CT scanners required;
  Philips experience preferred
• Active state or compact licensure required at time of consideration; pending licenses not accepted
• Must provide a copy of driver’s license for consideration
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from the past 12 months and one peer or supervisor from the past 3 years
• License required if applicable
