Overview
We are looking for reliable employees to serve as a Direct Care Worker for the members in our residential group homes, where we currently serve the developmentally disabled population. You'll be apart of like minded people who have a heart to serve those in need. We are looking for team members to assist in transportation to appointments, medication administration, and typical daily tasks such as cooking and assisting members with chores and the routines of our clients.
The Direct Care Worker will also provide support and care for the members living in the home and to maintain a safe environment.
- Current Available shifts:
- Friday - Monday (Day Shift)
- Sunday - Thursday (Day Shift)
- Tuesday - Saturday (Day Shift)
- 2nd shift Weekdays (3:30pm - 10:30pm)
- Weekend Days (8:30am - 8:30pm) Saturday - Sunday
- Chandler (Kyrene and Chandler Blvd)
- Phoenix (26th St and Southern)
- Laveen (67th Ave and Baseline)
- High school diploma or GED
- Demonstrates strong boundaries and shows care and concern for adults with disabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be able to obtain a valid Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card through the Department of Public Safety and a physical examination prior to employment
- Valid Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
- CPR/First Aid
- Article 9 Training
- CIT/Prevention & Support Training
- Valid Arizona Driver's License
- Participate in monthly team meetings and agency-wide training
- Assist with client admission and discharge
- Follow an assigned schedule for daily activities
- Oversee members’ completion of daily living tasks
- Follow house rules and schedules to provide consistency
- Dispense medications
- Complete daily progress notes
- Safely and appropriately utilize Prevention & Support behavioral intervention standards if necessary
- Maintain all DDD licensing standards

- Salary: $15.00 per hour

10 hour shift - 12 hour shift

- Education:
High school or equivalent (Preferred) - Experience:
Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred) - We train on the job!
- License/Certification:
Driver s License (Preferred) - Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (Preferred)
- Article 9 (Preferred)
- Prevention and Support (Preferred)
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
- Overnight Shift (Preferred)
