Position Summary
Join our team as a Clinical Educator for Pre-op/PACU and play a vital role in supporting the professional development of nurses and clinical staff within the perioperative continuum. You’ll oversee key onboarding and orientation processes for new hires in Pre-op and Post-Anesthesia Care Units, support nursing students and clinical placements, and coordinate foundational perioperative nursing education and professional practice programs.
This role partners closely with Pre-op, PACU, anesthesia, and perioperative leadership to ensure safe, consistent, and high-quality patient care through education. The position is ideal for a highly organized, collaborative nurse educator who thrives in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and is passionate about creating exceptional learning and onboarding experiences for perioperative clinical staff.

This position develops, implements, and evaluates proactive educational plans and programs to address staff and departmental needs to ensure ongoing enhancement and improvement of staff skills, competencies and professional growth in accordance with established standards, requirements and regulations.
Education- Bachelors degree in Nursing. (Required)
- One year experience in a preceptor or leadership role in the specific specialty area. (Required)
- Two years clinical pediatric nursing experience. (Required)
- Adult teaching experience. (Preferred)
- Current State of Arizona RN license. (Required)
- Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association. (Required)
- National Certification in clinical specialty and/or nursing professional development. (Preferred)
