We are seeking a Community Outreach Navigator to join our team at the Avondale Resource Center.

The Community Outreach Navigator will work in office Monday‑Friday, standard business hours (no evenings, weekends or holidays).

Job Preview at a Glance:

The Community Outreach Navigator serves as a central support with a wide range of ages. This staff member will provide crisis intervention, one‑on‑one support, psycho‑social prevention education and trauma‑informed training to staff. This staff member is responsible for assisting individuals to develop and implement their personal wellness program by providing support, education, and motivation.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides one‑on‑one community‑based support to a caseload of members
  • Leads psycho‑social prevention & wellness groups
  • Assists with crisis intervention with walk‑in visitors
  • Administers trauma‑informed training to team at Resource Center
  • Works collaboratively with team to support individual service plans
  • Provides accurate documentation of contact with members

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 21‑year of age
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field plus one year of relevant experience
  • Preferred:
    Personal Training Certification
  • Valid AZ driver’s license, and Motor Vehicle clearance
  • Ability to obtain fingerprint clearance card
