K&M Recruiting believes in building exceptional organizations through exceptional talent. K&M has partnered with MaVie Behavioral Health to hire a Licensed Independent Telehealth Therapist (
LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or LISAC
). MaVie is dedicated to providing integrated care for individuals with opioid use disorder (OUD) and substance use disorder (SUD), adhering strictly to ASAM and SAMHSA evidence-based standards within a clinical model built around Medically Assisted Treatment (MAT).

Role Description

This is a part-time/1099 contractor role for an independent Substance Use Counselor based in the Phoenix, AZ Metropolitan Area
. This role involves close collaboration with our medical team and requires seamless partnership with our external care coordination partner, Impact Connections. Furthermore, the therapist will utilize a holistic approach by engaging in SDOH screening and must be comfortable with all aspects of case collaboration and compliance. By joining MaVie, the therapist will be contributing directly to our mission to expand vital access to care and achieve high rates of patient stabilization and success.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field (required)
  • Active Licensure in substance use counseling (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LISAC)
  • Proficiency in Treatment Planning and Case Management to effectively support client recovery and progress
  • Proven clinical experience working with individuals diagnosed with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) or other Substance Use Disorders (SUD).
  • Knowledge of Chemical Dependency and best practices for addressing substance use challenges
  • Expertise in Relapse Prevention techniques and strategies
  • Strong understanding of Mental Health considerations and how they intersect with substance use therapy
  • Ability to work empathetically and compassionately with clients from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
