Location

Fully Remote – Must be located within 50 miles of Phoenix, AZ

Hours of Operation

Monday through Friday, 5am to 6:30pm – scheduled 8 hour shift (must be available anytime during this window)

Position Overview

Patient Service Representative

Responsibilities
  • Schedule and register patient appointments and/or provide information for other requests (e.g., addresses/directions, phone numbers, hours of operation, other departments such as billing, etc.).
  • Process all phone, fax, email, and other communication channel requests with an emphasis on efficiency and accuracy.
  • Update patients on the status of their referral or authorizations.
  • Communicate to patients and internal and external ordering physicians’ offices complex exam preparation instructions including pre‑procedure laboratory test requirements and other necessary preparation instructions.
Qualifications
  • 1+ year experience in a healthcare call center.
  • Patient scheduling and insurance verification experience.
  • Experience with handling KPIs.
  • Medical Terminology knowledge.
  • Reliable transportation to pick up equipment onsite.
  • Medical Assistant experience is a plus but not required.
Job Type & Location

Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
