- Review and document the accuracy of prescription drugs received from the dispensing pharmacy
- Execute quality assurance checks and document that prescriptions are filled correctly
- Serve as a liaison between the dispensing pharmacy and the ADCCR
- Identify and implement roles of inventory coordinators and pharmacy technicians
- Establish continuous quality improvement initiatives and participate in P&T meetings
- Maintain consistent contact with physicians, mid‑levels, nursing, regional, site administration, and client partners to communicate pharmaceutical needs of all patients
- Ensure seamless operation of pharmacy services
- Serve an integral leadership role as HCV Committee member identifying and addressing pharmacy‑related issues related to HIV, HCV, HBV, mental health, diabetes, and asthma
- Consistently ensure health plans and daily operations comply with policies, procedures, and standards
- Maintain accurate and updated records of pharmacy services, therapy reports, and pertinent information
- Conduct thorough monthly and quarterly audits of facilities to ensure proper handling of prescription medication and compliance with state/federal regulations, policies and procedures
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharm D from an accredited school
- Unrestricted Pharmacy License in AZ
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive pharmacy experience; management of pharmacy operations experience preferred
- A valid CPR or equivalent certificate
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Strong computer skills
