Pay Range: USD $30.00 - USD $38.00 per hour.
Shift: Monday – Friday 8‑5 pm.
You Will- Participate in educational activities, in‑service training, and on‑the‑job instruction to gain competency in CT imaging, which includes a 10‑week training period:
- Enroll in an online CT program (We will cover all expenses).
- 3‑4 days/week onsite CT training.
- Fully trained and licensed within 14‑16 weeks.
- Assist with preparing patients for CT exams and explain procedures in a courteous and professional manner.
- Learn proper positioning techniques, immobilization methods, and safety procedures for CT imaging under supervision.
- Observe and assist with administering contrast media after obtaining venipuncture certification and under direct supervision, if applicable.
- Support technologists with image processing, PACS transmission, and quality assurance checks.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and prepared for patient procedures.
- Provide professional and compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging process.
- Complete administrative tasks, paperwork, and data entry as assigned.
- Perform other related duties as assigned while learning the full scope of the CT Technologist role.
- Passionate about patient care and exercise sound judgement and an ability to remain professional in all situations.
- You demonstrate effective and professional communication, interpersonal skills and respect with patients, guests & colleagues.
- You have a structured work‑approach, understand complex problems and you are able to prioritize work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Must have current ARRT® and State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology (CRT).
- Must obtain ARRT (CT) certification and/or applicable State CT license within the timeframe required by Rad Net policy or state regulations. Continued employment in the trainee role is contingent upon meeting this requirement.
- Completion of an accredited Radiology program required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Venipuncture certification preferred; if not held, must obtain within required timeframe.
- Ability to learn and apply specialized CT equipment operation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to relate to patients, physicians, and team members.
