Job Summary:
Serve as a Floor Pharmacy Technician supporting all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily dispensing prescriptions and performing clerical duties under direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
Location: 10217 N Metro Parkway West, Room A113, Phoenix, AZ, 85051 (homesite). Availability to cover other sites in the Phoenix metro area.
Primary Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and clinic staff.
- Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under the supervision of the registered pharmacist.
- Order, receive, and store incoming pharmacy supplies.
- Receive and process wholesaler medication orders.
- Verify medication stock and enter data in computer to maintain inventory records.
- Assist the Pharmacist in pharmacy functions and keep the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements.
- Perform various clerical duties related to the department.
- Communicate with strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Cover homesite and other Phoenix metro sites.
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Arizona.
- Reliable transportation & valid US driver’s license.
- Ability to cover all sites in the Phoenix metro area.
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
- 6+ months of Pharmacy Technician experience.
Compensation: $16.00 to $27.69 per hour based on local labor markets, education, experience, and certifications. Full-time salary range: $38,480.00-$52,728.00.
