Order Verification Pharmacist - 2nd shift at Clarest Health

The Cotton Center (4645 Cotton Center Blvd, Phoenix, AZ 85040)

3:30pm-12:00am. Weekend rotation is required. Training:
Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm for the first 4 weeks.

$55-$62/hr based on experience.

• Adhere to Clarest’s Code of Conduct and follow Compliance policies and procedures; report suspected violations to the direct supervisor, Human Resources or the Compliance Officer
• Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness and recommend changes to therapy, as needed
• Enter medication orders
• Collaborate with the health care team to resolve medication concerns, including answering phone calls
• Perform the initial pharmacist verification of prescription entry
• Maintain complete and accurate information in the patients’ medical records
• Implement pharmacy policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective medication use, including participation in the pharmacy’s continuous quality improvement program
• Ensure PV1 is meeting its commitments for pharmacy run times and exceeding expectations of customers/colleagues
• Abide by all federal and state laws pertaining to the practice of pharmacy
• Report medication errors to management as they occur
• Assist pharmacy technicians as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Licensed by the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy
• NPI number preferred - Not mandatory for hire, required within first 90-day period of employment.
