We are seeking a dedicated Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Manager for a full‑time, on‑site role in the Greater Phoenix Area. The DME Manager will oversee and manage daily operations related to ordering, distribution, maintenance, and compliance of medical equipment. Responsibilities include ensuring proper inventory management, collaborating with healthcare providers to meet patient equipment needs, maintaining regulatory compliance, training staff on equipment use, and delivering excellent customer service.
The role also involves monitoring supplier relationships, managing budgets, and ensuring accurate billing and documentation for insurance compliance.
- Experience with durable medical equipment operations, inventory management, and compliance
- Knowledge of billing procedures, insurance requirements, and documentation standards
- Strong organizational, attention to detail, and problem‑solving skills
- Effective leadership, communication, and team management capabilities
- Ability to develop and maintain vendor relationships and manage budgets effectively
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
- High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, business administration, or related field is preferred
- Previous experience in durable medical equipment management or a related field is a strong advantage
