OverviewProvide 1:1 patient care in 60‑minute treatment sessions, focusing on functional rehabilitation for adults with neurological injuries. Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of PT/OT/SLP/COTA/PTA to focus on patient‑centered outcomes. Provide personalized care in an innovative outpatient setting utilizing the latest technology and equipment including Bioness BITS, FES, biVABA, Assistive Technology, and more.

- Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans
- Regularly re‑assess effectiveness of treatment plans; attend staff meetings and family conferences
- Perform discharge evaluations, make appropriate recommendations for home and community safety, and provide referral and education resources
- Communicate patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient, and family members
- Communicate with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care, and enhance patient outcomes
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current, unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice
- Current basic life support or cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification in accordance with state regulations
- A minimum of one year’s work experience as a physical therapist preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds; moving, lifting, or transferring of patients may involve lifting up to 100 pounds following safety procedures
- Requires fine motor skills, visual acuity, and ability to walk/stand for extended periods
- Additional physical requirements include pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently
